Plant Manager

Job Requirements:
BS or MS in Chemical Engineering, or related bachelor's degree, is absolutely required.
5-7 years experience in Supervision and Management of Manufacturing Operations and/or Engineering
Experience in Project Management, Process Engineering and Regulatory for a total of at least 10 years of experience
Experience working in a remote manufacturing plant is required
Experience and strong knowledge of California regulatory and HR laws is a strong plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills and Leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead in a team environment
Ability to manage, lead and adaptive to change
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Duties: Job Responsibilities:
Manage the operations of the Temecula Plant, which includes all direct and indirect manufacturing operations
Develop, institute and carry through an ever-improving Safety Program to achieve the ultimate goal of no safety or environmental incidents
Work closely with Customer Service, Marketing and Sales to achieve the best On- Time Delivery results while meeting the financial and inventory goals of the plant
Achieve the Manufacturing Expense Budget while optimizing operations to attain Cost Saving Measures within the plant expenses
In coordination with R&D, introduce and optimize new products in a timely manner to meet the market demands
Develop programs, polices and procedures to continuously improve the quality and productivity of the plant while eliminating process issues to reduce rework inventory and its generation
Direct and manage the Temecula Plant Capital Program. This includes identifying potential projects, assigning responsibility, approving designs and quotes and overseeing installation and start-up meet the schedule
Responsibility to the Quality Management System
Support, coach and develop Temecula Plant team
Practice safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and EPA guidelines, and Bostik specific EHS expectations
